A downloadable game
Build, defend, and fight alongside your turrets in a fast-paced first-person shooter, with fantasy and sci-fi aesthetics. Manage resources to strategically develop and upgrade your battlefield to survive onslaughts of diverse enemy types.
Tower defense games are typically slower paced, and strategic in nature. Usually they involve managing your player economy to continually upgrade your defenses to handle increasing waves of difficulty. However, this level of automation where your turrets defend your base for you leaves the player out on the action. Our game aims to further engage the player by enabling them to pick one of four unique classes to fight alongside their defensives in a first-person perspective, with active-time building components.
During gameplay, the player will be either a melee or ranged combatant, with 3 unique abilities to aid them in disposing of enemies. These enemies will spawn from set locations on the map, and then path toward the player’s base. Enemies will attack and deplete the base’s health points if they are able to reach it, so the player must engage with the enemies. However, the player alone will not be enough to slay the hordes of enemies. Upon defeating an enemy, they will drop resources of three different rarities, equivalent to their threat level. The player can then retrieve these resources to build various turrets in aiding their survival against increasing numbers, and difficulty of enemies.
By combining FPS action, and strategic Tower Defense mechanics, we aim to deliver a fully engaging, fast-paced experience for the player.
